Our services in more detail:
Crown reduction is the reduction of the overall size of the crown by removing the ends of the branches evenly throughout the crown by a specified amount to leave a balanced and maintained shape true to the species.
Crown thinning involves the removal of some of the branches and leaf area of the tree with the intention of creating an even and balanced tree structure. This may include the removal of damaged, crossing and crowded branches.
Stump grinding is the process of removing a stump once a tree has been felled. A typical stump grinder incorporates a cutter wheel with fixed carbide teeth. The cutter wheel movements are controlled by hydraulic cylinders to push the cutter wheel teeth laterally through the stump and to raise and lower the cutter wheel.
Tree felling can be required when a tree has died or cannot have its crown reduced or thinned and needs to be removed to prevent damage to property or danger to life. In some cases healthy trees can be felled to enhance the natural light in living spaces.
Established hedges require trimming to keep them dense and compact. Formal hedges require more frequent trimming than informal hedges.
